Back by popular demand, the East Haddam Community Lions Club will once again host “Ladies Night Out”. There are over 20 local vendors and seven restaurants participating this year. Come to shop at the vendor tables and to sample the food from area restaurants. This event will take place at the East Haddam Historical Society Museum on Rt. 82 in East Haddam on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 6 – 9 PM. The East Haddam Historical Society, founded 49 years ago, has been at this Town Street location for 11 years; it's just around the corner from Gillette Castle, right on the Route 82 corridor. The museum has a fine collection of local and Lower Connecticut River Valley historical objects. It prides itself on its kid-friendliness.
