Friends:

It’s that time of year, and once again we are inviting all civic-minded individuals or groups to donate a decorated holiday tree, wreath, exhibit or, if you’re not crafty, to donate an item or service for auction. Many civic organizations and individuals write a check during the holidays, show your Civic Pride and be acknowledged for it. Let us “Light-up” East Haddam for a common cause, to benefit those in need in our community during this time of giving. This coordinated fund drive can realize more $ than individual efforts alone.

All proceeds from this community-wide fundraiser will go to The East Haddam Fuel Bank, Food Bank and Youth and Family Services.

The donated items will be exhibited in Rathbun Free Memorial Library, November 19 - December 2. During this time advertising and a catalogue will be distributed.  A silent auction will take place. (Viewers can bid on the exhibits anytime during library hours.) 

We will host a Holiday Party, with wine, refreshments and entertainment on Friday, December 2^nd 7.00-9.00 pm. to round off our auction. All donations will be acknowledged in the program and again on signage where exhibits are displayed.

Decorated themes may say something about you or your group, but this would be up to your own creativity.…
